Manchester United's new investor Sir Jim Ratcliffe has been meeting with the playing staff.

Ratcliffe has met Erik ten Hag and his players this week and the meeting went positively.

That is according to The Sun, who state that it was “all smiles" at the end of the meeting.

Ratcliffe and his right hand man Sir Dave Brailsford were at Carrington, where United train.

A club spokesman stated, per the source: “It's no secret that Sir Jim and Sir Dave have been in town for a couple of days.

“On this occasions they were at the training ground and it was all about getting to know you.

“Sir Jim also met the staff as well as the women's team and the whole outcome was very positive."
