Barcelona are in contact with Manchester United midfielder Juan Mata, it has been revealed.
The Spanish playmaker has fallen down the pecking order under caretaker boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, with the Norwegian opting to utilise United's pacey forwards in his revamped attack.
Goal says Barca have already made contact with Mata's representatives as they seriously consider a move for the former Chelsea and Valencia man.
It is claimed Juventus and Paris Saint-Germain are also keen on a free transfer for Mata this summer if he cannot agree terms on a new deal with United.
United are in talks with Mata but so far there has been no breakthrough in negotiations. He is now able to sign a pre-contract agreement with clubs.
