Matteo Guendouzi enjoys a good relationship with Olympique Marseille president Pablo Longoria.
The Arsenal midfielder is a on-loan at OM this season and helped them to an opening day Ligue 1 victory at Montpellier last week.
L'Equipe via Le 10 Sport says Guendouzi and Longoria had been in contact for over 12 months before clinching an agreement with the Gunners this summer.
And during their conversations, it's been revealed Guendouzi had secured a commitment from Longoria that he will also sign his brother Milan to the OM academy. Milan, 19, left GSI Pontivy for OM this summer.
Guendouzi is expected to sign permanently for Marseille next year. The midfielder has so far played both of Marseille's opening two games of the season, producing an assist. He started on Sunday's 2-2 draw with Bordeaux.
With Arsenal, the 22 year-old Guendouzi has a contract to 2023.
