Arsene Wenger will not be heading to China once his time at Arsenal is up.
The Daily Mail reports that Wenger will opt against a big-money move to the Chinese Super League to remain in Europe.
Varying reports continue to suggest that the Frenchman will leave the Emirates Stadium at season's end, while there are plenty of outlets reporting that he could sign on with the Gunners.
Nevertheless, it is understood that former Nagoya Grampus boss Wenger is not interested in moving back to the Far East.
CSL clubs have made approaches for the 67-year-old, while it is believed that he has also attracted interest from clubs in the Middle East, but Wenger would prefer to stay put in Europe's elite.
If he does happen to leave Arsenal, the job at PSG could open up while there continue to be murmurings regarding Barcelona, but that move appears unlikely.
