Retired AC Milan striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic is backing Sandro Tonali for success with Newcastle United.

The midfielder is moving to Newcastle for a fee of €80m.

And Ibrahimovic says Tonali is completely ready for the Premier League.

The Swede said, "Is Tonali ready for the Premier League? Yes, I think he is. It depends on him, of course.

"I made him understand what the right mentality is if you want to win, and now he has won.

"He has grown a lot in Milan. He has a big responsibility and he still has to grow more, but he can handle it in England and he will do well."
