Redknapp: TV. Management. Chelsea great Lampard can do what he wants!

Frank Lampard still has the world at his feet even though he has retired from professional football.

The former Chelsea star announced his retirement on Thursday after a stellar 21-year career which also took in stints at West Ham United, Swansea City, Manchester City and New York City.

Lampard's cousin Jamie Redknapp feels the 38-year-old is capable of moving into any area of football such is his knowledge and expertise in the game.

"He can do whatever he wants. He ticks every box," he said on Sky Sports News HQ.

“If he wants to go on the TV he would be brilliant at that, if he wants to be a manager he could be tremendous.

"He has worked with some of the best like Jose (Mourinho), my dad and Carlo (Ancelotti). His options are limitless.

"I will be fascinated to see what he does, I hope he comes and works with us at Sky Sports because he will be brilliant. But whatever he does he should be extremely proud. Not only was he a great player but a fantastic guy too."
