RECORD FEE: Arsenal would need to stump up £100m for Tottenham star Alli

Arsenal reportedly made a shock enquiry about Tottenham's Dele Alli on Tuesday.

According to Gazetta dello Sport journalist and Tribalfootball columnist Emanuele Giulianelli, the Gunners asked Spurs info about the 20-year-old midfielder.

There are indications that perhaps Arsenal could make a surprise bid for the talented youngster but the reality of the matter is, Arsene Wenger's side would have to offer more than £100million for their North London rivals to even slightly consider.

In early May, The Telegraph reported that Spurs chairman Daniel Levy was not prepared to sell any of his promising stars for less than the aforementioned cost meaning if Arsenal are genuinely interested in Alli, they would have to pay a world record fee for the former MK Dons young gun.
