Real Madrid wing-back Marcelo is a major doubt for the Champions League return leg at Chelsea.
Chelsea drew 1-1 at Real Madrid in their Champions League semifinal first-leg.
It's reported Marcelo will not be able to be considered for the second-leg. And for good reason, on Tuesday, May 4, the citizens of the Madrid region are invited to vote to decide which party(s) will govern the Comunidad de Madrid.
And Marcelo has been selected to be part of a polling station that day. He will therefore not be able to travel to London for the second leg the next day, as his team flies during the day on Tuesday, due to travel restrictions.
However, Real Madrid can still appeal this decision.
