Real Valladolid owner Ronaldo Nazario admits there's shock over the arrest of Borja Fernandez.

Valladolid have been rocked by the findings of 'Operation Oikos' in the past days, and after the arrest of Borja Fernandez, Ronaldo has spoken out in defence of his friend.

"Borja is a friend, I hope the situation is clarified and it's proven that he has nothing to do with it," Ronaldo said.

"It's out of our hands, I hope it's a misunderstanding.

"We believe in the research work that the police are doing, but we're a team that fights to have transparency and are completely against any form of corruption."
