Real Sociedad matchwinner Brais Mendez was delighted after their Europa League win at Manchester United.

Mendez converted a penalty for the 1-0 win.

He later said: "The night was perfect, we dedicate it to the fans.

“ It is a magical and dream night for all of us who form La Real. I am left with the great match we have made, the tactics and the courage that the team has had.

"We knew we could win and that's what we came for. The night is perfect and we dedicate it to all the La Real fans.

“I can't ask for more, debut, goal and victory at Old Trafford. That's why I came to Real, to go to Manchester and think that you can win. And we did."
