Real Sociedad coach Imanol Alguacil as recommended a new deal for David Silva.

The Manchester City great, who turns 37 on Friday, comes off contract at the end of the season.

Imanol said, "The David thing is tremendous, I will not tire of repeating that he is very important for me, for the team and for the club.
