Real Mallorca coach Aguirre: Granada deserved win; Muriqi a strong boy

Real Mallorca coach Javier Aguirre says Granada deserved their win.

Granada won 3-2, with Vedat Muriqi missing from the spot for Mallorca.

Aguirre said: “It has been a crazy game; We could have made it 0-1 in the first minute and then 1-1 with the missed penalty, then we did draw and from the start in the second half they gave us the second with an own goal and then 3-1 from a penalty, and so on an accumulation of circumstances against make you leave hurt, the areas condemned us; when you lose, everything you see will be used against you, and as a pretext, but I congratulate Granada for beating us well and that's it."

On Muriqi, he added: "He is a competitive boy who has had worse times, surely, and in other times he was in teams where he did not play, here he is an important player, who we love very much and is one of the pillars of the team and he had to miss two penalties that each one at the time could mean, perhaps, a few more dots, but I am responsible because I am the one who decides that he throws them, it is true that it is improper for him to miss both but I am not going to point fingers at anyone, he is a strong boy mentally."
