Guti admits he was disappointed to see Bernd Schuster leave Real Madrid. The midfielder is struggling with injury and said: "He was important because he was a coach who gave me great confidence. He's been one of the few coaches I've had here who trusted me from day one until the last."

Asked about Juande Ramos, Guti added: "This is a guy who knows what he wants and how to exploit the qualities of each player. With him, we've won with order, discipline and defensive consistency."

Guti also called for Real to support their Castilla players more.

"I believe we should bet on the players we have at home and give them time, but it's not so easy."
