Real Madrid TV's commentators were happy after their controversial 3-2 win against Almeria.

After complaining furiously about their Copa del Rey defeat at Atletico Madrid, RMTV were far happier with the match officials on Sunday.

Real Madrid ended up winning 3-2 against Almería with a goal from Dani Carvajal in the 99th minute after coming back from 0-2.

In the post-match analysis, RMTV commentators stressed that "Almería had a goal that was finally annulled correctly, because that's what the VAR is for, which is what we always demand and what we claim."

"We were not used to justice being done," noted Álvaro de la Lama.

"What we always ask is that when there is a controversial play the referee uses the technology that has come to help, this is what we always demand in every game. If there are controversial plays, then the referee makes the determination that he considers or the interpretation that he considers.

"But at least, when there is a controversial play, let him see it in the VAR.

"The referee cannot go against justice," the commentators also stated on Real Madrid TV.
