Real Madrid management are unhappy with coach Zinedine Zidane's handling of Martin Odegaard.

Recalled from his two season loan with Real Sociedad last summer, Odegaard began the campaign in impressive fashion, but has been missing for several months.

Indeed, Zidane has been preferring Isco ahead of the young Norway international - much to the frustration of the club's top brass.

Mundo Deportivo says directors are baffled by Zidane's actions, convinced the introduction of Odegaard is the better long-term option for the club.
