Real Madrid striker Joselu was happy scoring in victory over Real Sociedad.

The hosts came from an early Ander Barrenetxea goal conceded to win 2-1 via efforts from Valverde and Joselu.

The centre-forward later said: "We have to work on a couple of things because we conceded a goal very early on, but it's the Bernabéu and, with the support in the second half, we turned the game around. We managed to get the three points after the international break.

"We're consistent and we believe in ourselves. We were going to get our chances even though we were trailing before half-time. There's a lot of quality in this squad, we came from behind again, we created a lot of clear chances and we deserved to win.

"I'm very pleased to score goals because they help the team to pick up points and win games. I'm happy to do my bit when the coach calls on me to do my bit."

On fellow goalscorer Valverde, he added: "He's a beast and an animal. When you watch him run, it looks like he never runs out of space. I'm learning from being here every day."
