Real Madrid spy Bosman move for Chelsea defender Toni Rudiger

Real Madrid are spying a bargain move for Chelsea defender Toni Rudiger.

Off contract in June, the Germany international is resisting attempts to open talks about a new deal at Chelsea.

Rudiger is open to extending his stay, but wants to see what else is on offer.

AS via Le 10 Sport says Real Madrid are monitoring developments closely and can see a Bosman opportunity for the stopper.

Real Madrid football chiefs are in the market for a new centre-half after losing senior defenders Raphael Varane and Sergio Ramos to Manchester United and Paris Saint Germain respectively last summer.

Should Rudiger be willing to listen to pre-contract offers, Paris Saint Germain are also expected to come forward.

With Chelsea, the 28 year-old is now entering his fourth season. At Stamford Bridge, Rudiger has made 154 appearances, scoring seven goals.
