Palmeiras superkid Endrick has rejected comparisons with Pele.

Endrick will join Real Madrid at the end of the season when he is 18 years of age.

He has just been called up to the senior Brazil squad for the first time and says: "It doesn't bother me not to score goals, because I know things will get better naturally.

"I just have to keep my mind strong. The criticism won't decrease and I will have to put up with it more and more."

The young striker was also asked about comparisons with Pelé: "Sometimes I ask myself: why have so many media focused on me? I never asked for this.

"There are situations that cross the line. Nobody will be never like Pelé, he is the king of football."
