Real Madrid are rethinking the sale of James Rodriguez.

But with Napoli pulling back from negotiations, Atletico Madrid are firming as the best solution for the midfielder.

However, Marca says Real are reluctant to strengthen their city rivals - particularly after the 7-3 thrashing on the weekend.

Real have not responded to Atletico in recent days and remain hopeful of Napoli returning to the negotiating table.
