Real Madrid president Florentino Perez has declared the club is in "transformation".

Perez presented Gold, Silver and Bronze medals at Ifema in Madrid to Real Madrid fans who celebrated their 25th, 50th and 60th anniversaries as a member this year.

In a speech, Perez stated: "Values such as teamwork, humility and never giving up are real hallmarks of Real Madrid.

"We have witnessed one of the best eras of our club in recent times in both football and basketball, an achievement that cannot be understated in the world of football, which is more competitive than ever.

"We are in a process of transformation that will lead us to new heights.

"We have a new team, bursting with talent, with great players and young prospects, and we have all confidence in them. This group has already won everything, and the players are legends.

"In basketball, something magical has been built. Seventeen trophies have been won in eight seasons, and the memory of this will live on."
