Real Madrid president Florentino convinced signing Mbappe AND Haaland in 2022

Real Madrid president Florentino Perez intends to sign PSG striker Kylian Mbappe AND Borussia Dortmund centre-forward Erling Haaland next summer.

With Mbappe's contract expiring at Paris Saint-Germain at the end of the season and next summer seeing a release clause of around £64m become active in Haaland's Borussia Dortmund contract, Marca says Florentino plans on signing them both.

There is a growing belief inside Real Madrid that a deal for Mbappe can be announced with a pre-contract agreement, something the French striker can sign with clubs outside of France as early as January 1, 2022.

Meanwhile, Real Madrid's communication with Haaland 'so far has been positive' and the player is 'excited' at the idea of playing at the Santiago Bernabeu.

Real Madrid are also said to believe that their positive relationship with Dortmund, established over recent years, strengthens their bid to entice Haaland to Spain. Reinier Jesus is currently on-loan with BVB.
