Real Madrid midfielder Toni Kroos won't join Manchester United if they miss out on the Champions League.

That's according to Spanish football expert Guillem Balague.

"Real Madrid are very aware Jose Mourinho does not want David De Gea to go to Real Madrid," he told Sky Sports.

“Madrid would ask de Gea to give a step forward to show his interest in going to Real but he will not do that in the near future.

"Not sure why Toni Kroos would fancy going to Manchester United right now, considering they might be playing the Europa League next season."
