Real Madrid midfielder Aurelien Tchouameni was happy with their scratchy 1-0 win against Champions League opponents Union Berlin.

Tchouameni insists they were worthy winners on the night.

He later said, "We're very happy. It's a great victory for us. Coming from behind is in Real Madrid's DNA. We did it today and we'll do it again if we have to. It's unbelievable.

"It was a very tough match, but we know we have to give everything until the end. We knew before the game that the opposition would play like that and that they wouldn't leave any spaces."

“Winning is a great feeling. We work hard and if we go home with a win it's even better. We have to keep it up."

He added: “I'm feeling very good. I'm playing a lot and I have to keep it up."
