Real Madrid midfielder Luka Modric admits Casemiro's departure leaves a void.

Casemiro was sold to Manchester United last Friday for €70m.

Modric said: “[The departure of] Casemiro is a shame, we made history with him, he was a fundamental figure for us.

"We will miss him very much as a player and person.

"It's part of football, I'm sad to see him go but we have to keep playing without him. Each player must give even more to replace him."
