Real Madrid midfielder Bellingham: I know I'm disappointing Ancelotti in one respect...

Real Madrid midfielder Jude Bellingham says he owes coach Carlo Ancelotti for his form this season.

Bellingham paid tribute to Ancelotti as he received his Golden Boy Trophy today.

He said, "I put my efforts and a fierce commitment to excel with work, but the credit goes to Mr. Ancelotti who found the right position for me and gave me more freedom on the field.

"So now I fly on the field thanks to him.

"I know I am disappointing him in one respect ... I still don't speak Spanish. Sorry, but I am encountering unexpected obstacles with this language. It is difficult for me, I admit it. In any case, I promise the maximum commitment, guaranteed."

On future winners of the award, Bellingham said: "I will say three names for the future. First of all, Arda Güler, is a phenomenon, we see him training and we are delighted with him.

"Then my former teammate Jamie Bynoe-Gittens from Borussia Dortmund. And finally, my brother Jobe, a thoroughbred striker like our father. By the way, I send a greeting to my friend Jamal Musiala, who came second, and with whom I shared the dressing room of the English youth teams for about three years."
