Real Madrid are keeping close tabs on Miguel Gutierrez at Girona.

The fullback moved to Girona this season and has quickly impressed with the Catalans.

So much so, reports AS, that he has been assured by Real chiefs, "We are waiting for you..."

While Real coach Carlo Ancelotti has announced Gutierrez is on-loan at Girona, the defender has a deal to 2027. However, Real have a buy-back option and also own 50 per cent of his registration.

Inside Valdebebas, it was always planned for Gutierrez to spend time with Girona before being re-signed once his development reaches the required level.
