Real Madrid goalscorer Asensio: That's how I want to play

Marcos Asensio was beaming after Real Madrid's victory against Celta Vigo.

He scored and assisted in Real Madrid's 2-0 win over Celta Vigo on Saturday.

The Spanish international spent approximately a year out of action during the 2019/20 season after suffering a serious knee injury during a pre-season friendly. He started his third consecutive game for Los Blancos against Celta.

"You're seeing it now," Asensio said on his return to form. "People don't know that it's a long process of accumulating matches and minutes.

"I'm on track [and] working very hard to bring my best."

Asensio scored his first goal of the season for Real Madrid against Celta, finishing past Ruben Blanco following Lucas Vazquez's pass.

"It had to come at one point, it's been resisting," Asensio added. "The most important thing is that the team got three points."
