Real Madrid goalkeeper Courtois on new contract: I want to give my all to world best club

Real Madrid goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois is delighted with his new contract.

The Belgium international signed terms yesterday to 2026.

Commenting on his personal website, Courtois stated: "How the years have passed. I still remember the first time I entered the Bernabéu stadium. The atmosphere in the changing rooms. The sound of the fans cheering from the stands. Three years later, I am pleased to announce the extension of my contract with Real Madrid until 2026.

"My family and friends recently asked me where I would like to play in the next few years. My answer remains the same today as when I was little: Real Madrid. Adding two more years with the best jersey in the world makes this childhood dream even sweeter. I love being part of Real Madrid. It is a blessing to expand my family at home with a new one on the field.

"For me, this extension is a reward for my efforts over the past year. It encourages me to work even harder and give my all for the best club in the world. For the next five years, I will do everything possible together with our team to win new trophies for the Madridistas."
