Real Madrid fullback Dani Carvajal is urging coach Carlo Ancelotti to stay.

With a contract to 2024, Ancelotti is a confirmed target for the Brazilian Football Confederation.

After the 1-1 draw with Manchester City in the first-leg of their Champions League semifinal, Carvajal talked up Ancelotti's influence.

He told Cadena SER: "Whatever happens, I think he will stay.

"I don't think he is questioned, he is doing a fantastic job. We have won everything in two years, we have won the Copa del Rey and we are one step away from another Champions League final.

"Both the club and the players want him to stay."
