Real Madrid coach Zinedine Zidane was delighted with their 2-0 defeat of Eibar on Saturday.

The victory at Valdebebas is the latest in a long line of recent results that have seen Los Blancos emerge as contenders to win LaLiga Santander and win the Champions League following a tough start to the season.

The match against Eibar allowed Real Madrid to keep up their title push at home and also prepare for hosting Liverpool on Tuesday.

"We're not looking at that at all," Zidane said on Liverpool.

"We look at the day to day.

"First it was about today's game and we did very well. We started the game very well.

"Now it's about resting and preparing ourselves well.

"We know where we've come from. We've suffered a lot this season and now it's about enjoying it.

"We're having a good time, because the results are good.

"We're defending our goal very well and we're playing well, which is important for us."
