Real Madrid coach Zidane happy after 'very satisfying' win at Real Sociedad

Real Madrid coach Zinedine Zidane was delighted with their 2-1 win over Real Sociedad.

Sergio Ramos converted a penalty and Karim Benzema fired in a right-footed strike, before Mikel Merino pulled one back late for the hosts.

Zidane said, "Its very satisfying. It's a difficult place to come, a tough opponent, they made it difficult for us. The match wasn't easy, we held on from the beginning and I think we deserved the win. I don't know what else to say. We deserved to win and that doesn't change the situation. We know, that LaLiga is going to be decided at the end and we have to continue as we have been doing untill now, very focused and with a lot of desire.

"We haven't achieved anything yet. Whilst it's true that we have got the three wins and nine points, we know that it'll be really tough until the end of the season because there are some really good sides in LaLiga and we have to keep going. We're on a good run, the players are responding well in fitness and technical terms, we're always looking for more and you've got to say that we looked like we wanted to win the game right from the off."
