Real Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti admits Aurelien Tchouameni isn't overly happy about playing at centre-half.
Ancelotti is keen to find a replacement after losing David Alaba to an ACL injury and Tchouameni could fill in.
He said: "He doesn't like to play as a centre back, just like (Eduardo) Camavinga doesn't like to play as a winger. In the emergency, he did very well. He knows that if there is an emergency, he will play there.
"But his future is as a pivot, we all know that.
"The moment is very complicated, it's the truth, fortunately I have to thank the players who are making it through. What is special is what this squad is doing at a time like this."
