Real Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti admits Arda Guler has been floored by a new injury setback.
Guler suffered a thigh strain in training earlier this week.
Ancelotti said today: "Unfortunately, this happened before the game against Braga.
"It seemed like nothing, but it still bothers him. It is not a serious thing, but the player is depressed.
"It is a small step back, but it is not a relapse.
"The first injury was the meniscus, which he already had last year. It was operated on and your posture changes a bit. It can happen in recovery that you may have muscle problems.
"He has a great future. He is a high quality player. It is a small muscle problem. The player is disappointed. I have the experience. The future of Güler you are not in doubt, it is only a moment. Hopefully he can recover well after the break.
"I say calm and tranquility to Arda. It is quite normal for the player to be affected. He is new, he wants to contribute to the team and he sees how the other teammates train and play. His sadness and anger are understandable. We are not in a hurry with him. His future is here because he has extraordinary talent."
