Real Madrid coach Ancelotti happy to nick victory from Getafe

Real Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti was happy with victory at Getafe.

Eder Milito scored the only goal on the day.

Ancelotti said: "The team played well and deserved the win. I come away very pleased because last season we slipped up here and we were more solid, and stronger in our duels this time around. We also managed to keep a clean sheet which is hugely important because we showed real intensity and defended very well.

"Militão and Rüdiger were fantastic, as was Tchouameni in front of them.

"Sometimes you have games where you feel very comfortable on the ball. We scored early on and that helped us not to rush things or force the play too much. We moved the ball well and controlled the game but we weren't as clinical up top as we have been on other occasions. We've created a lot of chances over the last couple LaLiga games but we haven't scored many goals."
