Real Madrid coach Ancelotti happy seeing Endrick earn senior Brazil call

Real Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti is delighted hearing Endrick has earned a first call-up to the senior Brazil squad.

The Real-owned player has been playing on-loan with Palmeiras this season.

And Endrick, at 17 years, three months and 17 days, has become the youngest player to be called up by Brazil since Ronaldo.

Ancelotti said today: "I am not surprised because he is playing very well. It seems to me an award to a young player who is doing very well in Brazil."

Selecao coach Fernando Diniz explained: "He is a player who has the potential to be one of those great talents. We do not know if he will be confirmed or not. The call is not pressure, it is an award, and also a vision of what the future can be."
