Real Madrid captain Sergio Ramos was delighted with their 5-2 rout of Real Sociedad.
The match was comfortable for Los Blancos, who led 4-0 at the break, and their players could afford to allow their minds to drift, with the Basque club not really venturing forward.
"Of course, in the second half Wednesday's game was in our minds," Ramos explained in his post-match interview.
"We play for our season against PSG.
"The goal is to win on Wednesday.
"Our intensity shouldn't be lacking, the whistles are important for us, we're nothing without our fans."
