Real Madrid have received a boost in their pursuit of Fluminense striker Pedro Guilherme.

Real have made enquiries after Pedro this past week and been informed they can sign the forward for €20-25m.

Globoesporte says Monterrey have upped their original offer of €15m to €20m in the last 48 hours - which has been accepted by Flu.

However, Pedro has rejected the move, insisting he will only leave Flu for Europe.

Real are expected to firm up their interest, having already opened talks with Flu, ahead of the January market.
