Real Madrid attacker Rodrygo Goes was delighted after their 4-2 win against Almeria.

Rodrygo scored one and also laid on an assist for one of Karim Benzema's treble.

He said, "I don't know what happened in my head. It was very quick, automatic. I didn't have very many options, it was my only way out. It was a nice 'self-pass', let's see if I can do it more often.

"I always speak very highly of Karim because he is a friend and a world-class player. We already know that he plays very well, that's why he's the best player in the world and he proves it in every game. It's always a pleasure to be able to give him an assist."

On his goal, Rodrygo added "It's a shot that I always practice. After training, we stay a little bit to try it and today it was very good. I always try to improve and shoot more in matches to score more goals.

"Today I scored a very nice one and I hope to score many more like that. It was a great goal and I'm very happy. We played a great game. I'm delighted for the assist, for scoring another goal and, most importantly, for the win."
