Real Madrid attacker Rodrygo Goes was delighted with his goal in victory at Champions League opponents Braga.
Rodrygo and Jude Bellingham struck for the 2-1 win.
Rodrygo said: "I was really hungry to score. I haven't had much luck up to this point. I've been playing well, I was doing everything I could but it just wasn't going in for me. I didn't play so well today but I scored. That's the way football goes. I'm thrilled to have got the goal and for the team to have won. I hope we can keep it up.
“Scoring in the Champions League is always special because it's such a special competition to me. Now we just have to keep going because we have so much coming up.
“I'd like to thank the coach because he's always shown faith in me. He's always helped to put my mind at ease. He saw I was getting frustrated and sad because I wasn't scoring but he's always motivated and believed in me. I'm so grateful for that, I love him for it. Now we just have to keep doing the right things."
