Real Madrid announce new contract for Vinicius Jr

Real Madrid have announced a new contract for Vinicius Junior.

The Brazil attacker has signed a new deal to 2027 with Los Merengues.

Real confirmed in a statement today: "Real Madrid C. F. and Vini Jr. have agreed to extend the player's contract, which is linked to the club until June 30, 2027.

"Vini Jr. arrived at Real Madrid in July 2018, at just 18 years old, and debuted with Real Madrid Castilla on August 26. In his six seasons defending the first team jersey, he has played 235 games, in which he has scored 63 goals and won 9 titles: 1 Champions League, 2 Club World Cups, 1 European Super Cup, 2 Leagues, 1 Copa del Rey and 2 Spanish Super Cups.

"At 23 years old, Vini Jr. is already one of the most important players in Real Madrid in recent years. He scored the goal that the Fourteenth European Cup gave us in the 2022 Paris final and won the 2022 Club World Cup Golden Ball in Morocco, that was conquered by Real Madrid and that meant the eighth world title in our history.

"In addition, he was designated Best Young Player in the Champions League 2021-2022."
