Real Betis midfielder Isco 'happy with victory' over Aris; explains Fekir penalty gesture

Real Betis midfielder Isco was delighted after their rout of Aris Limassol.

Betis won their Europa League encounter 4-1 on the night.

Isco said, "Happy with the victory, above all, it was an important game to stay in first place and we achieved it. The team has given a good image.

"Yes, it is true that with the 3-1 they had a very clear chance. In tournaments like this we have to try not to make concessions, especially for future qualifying rounds because a mistake can leave you out. And as always, try to improve and happy for the victory."

On giving penalty duties to Nabil Fekir, who missed from the spot, Isco added: "It came from within me, it's something that I'm sure anyone on the team would have done, something that I would like them to do for me if I had been away for a long time.

"It's a shame that he couldn't score, but I'm happy to play with him, for the minutes we have had, we have enjoyed a lot, we had opportunities to score some more."
