Real Betis coach Manuel Pellegrini says he needs midfield signings.
Pellegrini insists they cannot to sell Guido Rodriguez this week.
He said: "I already gave my opinion last week and I stand by it. In order to be competitive we have to bring players for the positions we have more empty.
"Juanmi, Canales, Joaquín left and we can't count on Fekir. Four creative footballers are missing and only Isco has come.
"It is difficult to know if they will be able to bring in players, if any are going to leave... they are speculative things.
"But I have already given my opinion on what I think the squad needs. We have two free numbers and I insist that I think that in order to be competitive in the three competitions we need more reinforcements, so obviously having exits would mean having more weaknesses still."
