Real Betis chief Catalan insists Los Celso will stay

Real Betis are adamant they will keep hold of Giovani los Celso.

The midfielder has been outstanding for Betis since arriving on-loan from PSG last summer.

José Miguel Lopez Catalan, the vice-president of Betis, said: "We are very clear that he will stay at Betis, we were fully convinced before. We were there in the summer when we went to get him. He is showing that he is the player we all think he was.

"We have a permanent option that is mandatory if the team qualifies for Europe, and if not, it is optional for Betis and mandatory for PSG.

"He is very happy in the team, with the level of the squad, the technical staff, the city."
