Real Betis chief Alarcon on De Gea, Isco and Guido

Real Betis chief Ramon Alarcon admits they won't be signing David de Gea.

The former Manchester United goalkeeper has been linked with a move to Betis.

But Alarcon said, "Right now we are not thinking about that position . We have two magnificent goalkeepers, Claudio Bravo and Rui Silva, plus the kid from the academy, Fran Vieites who played the other day and did spectacularly well. It is not a need that we have.

"The future will bring what it has to bring and with Isco, we are delighted, he was a great success, he has given us great performance and we are delighted with him.

On Guido Rodríguez, who faces the last year of his contract, he continued: "When I talk about Mexico I always mention Guido because we came to sign him from América. He is Argentine, World Champion with Argentina, but he has that relationship with Mexican soccer, he was named best player of the championship in his last year in America and he makes Betis recognizable.

"We are in negotiations. There are days when I think we are going to reach a successful conclusion because we have a very important mutual respect and affection, and others in which, given his level, he may receive an option that he cannot reject and he will no longer continue with us.

"It is the world of football, you have a great professional who gives that performance for four years uninterruptedly and it is normal for him to have many suitors. We will try to keep him with us and if not, we wish him all the best."
