Real Betis ace Isco has revisited his bitter exit from Real Madrid.
Isco felt the beginning of his demise at Real came during Santiago Solari's time in charge.
He told Universo Valdano: "I don't know very well what happened, nobody was clear with me.
"With Solari I played a Copa del Rey match and then loose minutes, 10 minutes ... I didn't know how it was, right or wrong, and I fell apart.
"I was p***ed off at everyone.
"You throw balls out constantly and time gives you the perspective of what you can do to change, why you didn't go one step further, so you don't fight anymore.
"Now I admit that I lost the illusion to demonstrate, to play, to take away the position of a teammate as I had done previously.
"I fell a little down and I did not have the mental strength to reverse the situation that I had had other times.
"The one who regrets the most is me.
"I say it now that time has passed, that I enjoy football again like a small child, but at that moment I was fighting with everyone. I blamed so-and-so, often… I felt like a victim and I wasn't."
