RB Leipzig boss Rangnick confident keeping Liverpool, Bayern Munich target Werner

RB Leipzig boss Ralf Rangnick insists they're confident of keeping hold of Timo Werner.

The Reds have been linked with a move for the 22-year-old for quite some time now, but a big-money switch remains off the cards.

Liverpool face competition in the form of Bundesliga giants Bayern Munich for the striker's services, but RBL are confident of keeping hold of their talisman.

In fact Rangnick ruled out the forward signing for any rival club this January.

He told Sky Germany: “If Bayern are serious, then it will be difficult for us. But they often play with one striker, so I see him staying with us for the next two or three years."
