Rayo Vallecano goalkeeper Dimitrievsk plays down Vini Jr clash: Part of the game

Rayo Vallecano goalkeeper Stole Dimitrievski played down his running battle with Real Madrid attacker Vini Jr last night.

Dimitrievski kept a clean sheet for the impressive 0-0 draw for Rayo.

The keeper was seen regularly exchanging barbs with Real Madrid star Vini Jr and at one stage they clashed which left Dimitrievski floored.

Rayo medics attended to the keeper, who took a blow to the knee. After play resumed, Vinicius approached Dimitrievski and said: "You and I, over; you and me, over."

After the exchange, the tension between the pair appeared to ease.

Post-match, Dimitrievski commented: "Vinicius is a great player. These are normal situations when the game is tense. It is normal for there to be friction, like the one between (Jude) Bellingham and Pathé Ciss.

"It's part of the game. We shouldn't give importance to it."
