Rayo Vallecano fullback Luis Advíncula has recalled being blanked by Real Madrid star Luka Modric.

Advíncula admits being snubbed by Modric when asking for his shirt after an international between his Peru and Croatia.

"I asked Modric if we could exchange shirts but he said no. He explained that Raúl Ruidíaz had already asked him.

"I have two of James Rodríguez's shirts and one from Mbappé.

"But I don't really like swapping shirts to be honest, because if you get turned down, it's mortifying - you end up feeling really red-faced," he explained.
