Manchester United have no intention of participating in a summer bidding war over Brentford striker Ivan Toney.
The Red Devils are determined to bring in a top forward to assist the likes of Rasmus Hojlund with the scoring load.
However, Chelsea, Arsenal and Tottenham are also keen on Toney, who Brentford are preparing to sell.
Per the Daily Star, United joint-owner Sir Jim Ratcliffe knows the club must invest wisely to go back to the very top.
They are willing to pay up for Toney, but only around £70 million, while Brentford are seeking a sum closer to £100 million.
United may look at other targets, especially as Toney is at an age where he would have little resale value in a few years.
