Claudio Ranieri has indicated that he will extend his stay with Premier League champions Leicester City.
The Italian pulled off one of the biggest shocks in football history by guiding the Foxes to last season's league title and is now ready to new rewarded handsomely for his efforts.
Ranieri, 64, signed a three-year deal with the East Midlands club last summer but is now ready to put pen to a fresh four-year contract worth £70,000 a week, doubling his old salary, according to The Sun.
Ranieri has revealed that he is prepared to commit himself long-term to the Leicester cause and a deal will likely be done within the next month.
"I have the contract and the chairman wants me to sign it," he said.
"I don't have a problem, I am happy to stay.
"I think before the season I will sign. But it's not important because last year I signed a three-year contract.
"When my agent comes to me and says 'sign', I will sign without looking!"
